So, we've settled on a final mix for Strange Things. We're now deep in to the recording and mixing of I Can't Get You which is currently in an instrumental draft but will be complete with vocals soon. Our next recording endeavour will be The Leader.

So what's been going on? Well... we didn't get a chance to play that 15 minute slot back in March. We've started working on a recording of Strange Things although there is still a fair bit of finishing needed on the track. We've almost completed the writing of our second track I Can't Get You and there is a 3rd song already halfway there...
So that's where we are. We might be showcasing some of our original stuff in a month or two at a local boozer so watch this space if you want to check on our progress!

The Band
We've started the recording progress for "Strange Things" and "Inside Your Heaven". We also have a few rough song ideas (approx. 8) to work on.
Kate's Songs
We've also decided that we are going to help support Kate in her solo songwriting/performance efforts (when she's not drumming like a mo-fo for GbC). If you've heard her sing then you'll know she has a unique style a a gifted voice that would be wasted on all that rock-n-roll noise! We'll feature her recordings on our site as she gets them up and running.
Potential Gig
We might have a 15 minute slot at a venue on Parr Street. Chance to demo what few original songs we have ready (any voters for digging in to the Stacked Actors backlog?).

 | So we've decided to do a "World Tour" instead of just a single gig to get things rolling. Unfortunately, as we have limited material of our own, and given that nobody really knows who we are... we couldn't confirm with most venues. They said something around "we can't garuntee selling 30,000 tickets given how new you are". Pshhh... lame-asses. They better hope we call them back for the 2011 tour!
